This program is seeking initial accreditation from the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA).
MISSION STATEMENT
Evara Health’s AEGD Residency Program is committed to developing skilled, compassionate general
dentists prepared to serve as primary oral health care providers in community-based settings. Rooted in the
mission of a Federally Qualified Health Center, the program integrates clinical excellence, evidence-based
learning, and interdisciplinary collaboration to prepare residents to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered
care to areas with limited access to healthcare.

CURRICULUM
- Weekly didactics across all AEGD core areas
- Comprehensive dentistry/ restorative/perio/endo/os/ prostho/peds etc.
- Medically compromised & special needs patients
- Practice management, ethics, and community health
- Monthly PCC — resident-led case presentations
- Monthly Journal Club — evidence-based review
- QI and chart audit throughout the year
- Clinical practice providing comprehensive care under the supervision and mentorship of program faculty

Over 26,000 annual dental visits
Integrated care team
Train alongside medical, behavioral health, and pharmacy within the same health center as part of a patient-centered medical home
Multi-site rotations
External rotations with community partners for TMD, oral surgery and implant dentistry
Research requirement
Independent faculty-mentored project required for graduation
Simulation lab
Evara Health Institute simulation lab supports skill development throughout the residency year
HOW TO APPLY

- DDS or DMD from a CODA-accredited dental school

BLOODBORNE PATHOGEN POLICY
Evara Health maintains a Bloodborne Pathogen Exposure Control Plan per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.1030. Residents must review prior to enrollment. Full policy provided with acceptance materials.
