Deirdre Barr

MSW, MPH, LCSW

Deirdre believes healing begins when people feel safe, supported, and truly heard. As a licensed clinical social worker, she creates a warm, nonjudgmental space where patients can process life's challenges, recover from trauma, and build the confidence to move forward. She has advanced training in trauma-focused therapy, including EMDR and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and is passionate about helping people break unhealthy patterns, rediscover their strengths, and create meaningful, lasting change.

Deirdre's passion for behavioral health began with a lifelong commitment to serving others and grew through years of working with individuals overcoming adversity. She believes every step forward deserves to be celebrated, whether it's a breakthrough moment or simply finding hope again. Outside the office, she enjoys reading, cooking, baking, volunteering, and spending time with family and friends. She's also devoted to her rescue dog, Saoirse, who loves sunshine, "sniffari" car rides, and the occasional ice cream treat.
