Our Vision
The Family Medicine Residency at Evara Health is dedicated to the training, education, and development of caring, mature, professionally competent, and Family Medicine board-eligible physicians. We strive to deliver the highest quality comprehensive, evidence-based, compassionate patient-centered care to the community while remaining sensitive to the community's health care problems and resources.
Our Mission
Our mission is to innovate beyond the barriers that limit access to quality healthcare, ensuring everyone can receive industry-leading services from professional teams that care as much as family.
Become a Leader in Lifestyle Medicine
The Lifestyle Medicine Residency Curriculum (LMRC) prepares residents to address the root causes of chronic disease through evidence-based lifestyle interventions. As part of your Family Medicine training, you'll gain expertise in nutrition, physical activity, sleep, stress management, social connection, and substance avoidance while learning practical coaching techniques that help patients create lasting change.
Graduates leave with the skills to deliver more comprehensive, preventive care and are eligible to sit for the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine certification exam after residency.
Build Your Skills in Osteopathic Medicine
Whether you're a DO or an MD, additional educational support is available to help you succeed in the osteopathic track and grow as a well-rounded family physician.
Our ACGME-recognized Osteopathic Recognition track provides residents with advanced training in osteopathic principles and practices, preparing them to deliver comprehensive, whole-person care. Through dedicated mentorship, hands-on learning, and individualized support for both DO and MD residents, you'll strengthen your clinical skills while integrating osteopathic medicine into everyday practice.
As part of the Osteopathic Recognition track, you'll gain:
- Extensive hands-on experience with osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT)
- Personalized mentorship from dedicated osteopathic faculty
- Opportunities to apply osteopathic principles through clinical care, research, and scholarly activity
While our Osteopathic Recognition track is designed to support osteopathic (DO) residents, we also welcome MD residents who are interested in expanding their training in osteopathic principles and practice.
MD residents may be eligible to participate by demonstrating a foundational understanding of osteopathic medicine through experiences such as:
- Completion of osteopathic principles and practice (OPP) coursework or clinical rotations
- Participation in osteopathic electives, workshops, or continuing education
- A letter of intent and/or successful completion of an entry-level assessment, as determined by the program
