J. Ben Gilbert

Ben Gilbert believes the strongest organizations are built by investing in people. As Chief Financial Officer of Evara Health, he sees every budget, strategic investment, and operational decision as an opportunity to strengthen the organization's ability to care for patients, support employees, and prepare the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Since joining Evara Health in 2016, Ben has helped guide the organization's growth while expanding access to care throughout Pinellas County. His leadership has supported the development of new health centers, the growth of services including Behavioral Health, Chiropractic, and Telehealth, and the continued evolution of Evara Health's operations. In addition to overseeing the organization's financial strategy, Ben provides leadership for revenue cycle, contact center operations, materials management, marketing, workforce management, process improvement, and the Evara Health Foundation.

Known for his collaborative leadership style, Ben is passionate about helping others succeed. He believes great leaders create opportunities for their teams to grow, celebrating their accomplishments while quietly working behind the scenes to remove obstacles and build lasting success. Whether supporting a colleague, a patient, or a student pursuing a healthcare career, Ben is guided by the belief that investing in people creates stronger organizations and healthier communities.

A proud graduate of the University of South Florida, Ben earned his bachelor's degree in Finance and brings more than 30 years of healthcare leadership experience across hospitals, home health, and pharmacy services. Outside of work, you'll often find him cheering on the USF Bulls or enjoying time with family and friends, always grateful for the opportunity to serve the community he calls home.
