Kim Schuknecht believes great healthcare depends on what happens behind the scenes just as much as what happens in the exam room. As Chief Operating Officer and Compliance Officer, she helps ensure Evara Health's patients and care teams have the people, places, systems, and support they need to deliver exceptional care every day.
With more than 30 years of leadership experience spanning healthcare and finance, including previous service as a community health center CEO, Kim brings both strategic vision and operational expertise to Evara Health. She oversees a broad portfolio that includes business operations, facilities, emergency management, workforce development, human resources, compliance, and the organization's construction and expansion efforts. From opening new health centers to preparing for hurricane season, supporting the growth of Evara Health Institute, and launching innovative programs like Food Rx, Kim is always focused on building a stronger future for the organization and the communities it serves.
Kim is passionate about developing people and creating systems that allow teams to thrive. She believes strong operations create the foundation for compassionate, high-quality care and is committed to helping Evara Health continue growing to meet the evolving needs of Pinellas County.
Outside of work, Kim enjoys exploring America's national parks and is an avid baker who appreciates that, much like healthcare, the best results come from thoughtful preparation, the right ingredients, and a little patience.
