Michelle R. Ferrer

APRN, PMHNP

Michelle believes every child deserves to feel safe, understood, and confident. With more than 26 years of pediatric nursing experience, she's dedicated her career to helping children and teens build the skills they need to navigate anxiety, emotions, and everyday challenges. As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, she partners with families to provide compassionate, evidence-based care in a warm, welcoming environment where children can truly be themselves.

Michelle has a special interest in helping children understand and manage anxiety, teaching them what happens in their bodies and giving them practical tools they can use every day. She believes education, patience, and strong partnerships with families help children thrive both now and in the future. Her office is designed with young patients in mind, complete with toys to help children feel comfortable and a treasure box waiting at the end of every visit. Outside the office, Michelle enjoys reading, traveling, cooking, trying new restaurants, and spending time with family, friends, and her oversized tabby cat, Loki, who still insists he's a kitten.
