Troy Williams
Chief Information Officer
Troy Williams believes technology should make healthcare feel more human, not less. As Chief Information Officer for Evara Health, he is passionate about using innovation to remove barriers, simplify care, and give clinicians more time to focus on what matters most: their patients.
With more than 20 years of experience leading healthcare technology initiatives, Troy has helped organizations modernize the systems that power patient care while keeping people at the center of every decision. Before joining Evara Health, he led enterprise technology initiatives for Memorial Hermann Health System and served as Chief Technology Officer for the City of Houston's Health & Human Services Department, where he advanced public health technology while maintaining the highest standards for security and privacy.
At Evara Health, Troy leads the organization's information technology strategy, partnering closely with clinical and operational teams to ensure technology is an asset rather than an obstacle. From strengthening cybersecurity and modernizing infrastructure to exploring emerging technologies and artificial intelligence, he is constantly looking for ways to reduce administrative burden, improve the patient experience, and help care teams spend more time building meaningful relationships with the people they serve.
Troy earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Strategic Management from the University of North Texas and holds the Certified Healthcare Chief Information Officer (CHCIO) credential. He is an active member of the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME), the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), and the Society for Information Management (SIM).
Outside of work, Troy enjoys golfing, staying active in the gym, and serving the community alongside his wife, LaShonda, and their three grown children. Whether he's talking about the latest advances in technology or mentoring a teammate, Troy is driven by the same belief: innovation is most powerful when it helps people live healthier lives.
